Terms of Service

Last updated: 5 September 2026

These terms apply when you use Pixsar: the Pixsar Meet video meeting and classroom service, the Pixsar Media live event and content platform, the dashboard at dashboard.pixsar.io, the mobile apps and this website. By creating an account or joining a session you agree to them. If you use Pixsar on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

1. What Pixsar provides

Pixsar provides online meetings and classes under your own branding, recordings and attendance records delivered to your own systems, an API and embed for connecting Pixsar to your portal or timetable, and live event streaming with ticketing, media sales and payouts for organisers. The exact features available depend on the plan you choose.

2. Accounts

You need an account to host sessions or organise events. Keep your login details private and tell us at once if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including the actions of hosts you add to your workspace. Participants who only join a session do not need an account.

3. Your content and recordings

Everything you upload, stream or record stays yours. You give us only the rights we need to run the service: to store, transmit and process your content so that participants can see it and so that recordings reach your systems. You are responsible for having the right to use the content you bring to Pixsar, and for telling participants when a session is recorded, in line with the law that applies to you.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Pixsar to:

  • break the law, or infringe anyone's rights, including copyright and privacy;
  • stream, upload or share content that is abusive, hateful or sexually exploitative;
  • harass participants, or record people who have not been told they are being recorded;
  • interfere with the service, probe its security, or place a load on it that harms other customers;
  • resell access to the service without a written agreement with us.

We may suspend or remove content and accounts that break these rules. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.

5. Prices and payment

Pixsar Meet is priced per host at 15% below Zoom's published list price for the equivalent plan. The plans and prices in force are shown on the Meet page. Event streaming is quoted per event. You can pay by Visa or Mastercard, by mobile money or by invoice, in your currency. Subscriptions renew until you cancel them from the dashboard or by writing to us. Prices exclude taxes unless we say otherwise.

6. Payouts to organisers

When you sell tickets, pay-per-view access or media through Pixsar, we collect the payments, deduct the platform fee and payment costs shown in your dashboard, and pay the balance to you. Refunds to your audience follow the refund rules you set for the event and the rules of the payment provider.

7. Availability

We run Pixsar on servers in Germany hosted with Hetzner, our German hosting partner, and we work to keep it available at all times. We cannot promise that it will never be interrupted. We announce planned maintenance in advance where we can, and we restore service as quickly as we can when something goes wrong.

8. Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time. We can end the agreement if you break these terms, if you do not pay, or if we stop offering the service, in which case we will give you reasonable notice and time to export your recordings and data.

9. Liability

We are liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health, without limit. For other damage caused by a breach of an essential obligation, our liability is limited to the damage that was foreseeable when the contract was made, and to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event that caused it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Privacy

How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy. Where you use Pixsar to process personal data of your participants, you are the controller and we process the data on your instructions; ask us for a data processing agreement if your organisation needs one.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service or the law changes. We will publish the new version here with a new date and, for material changes, tell account holders by email at least 30 days before they take effect.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms: write to info@pixsar.io or use the contact page.
